SkillsFuture Credit

For Singaporeans aged 25 years and above to offset SSG-approved training course fees

SkillsFuture Credit aims to encourage individual ownership of skills development and lifelong learning.

All Singaporeans aged 25 or above will receive SkillsFuture Credit of $500 from January 2016. This will not expire and you may accumulate your credit for a range of eligible courses on MySkillsFuture.

  • All Singaporeans who are 25 years or above as at 31 Dec 2020

  • One-time S$500 credit top-up

  • Claimable for full range of SkillsFuture Credit-eligible courses

  • Expires on 31 Dec 2025

Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support)
  • Additional one-off special S$500 credit

  • From 1 June 2022, eligible courses will be expanded to include: courses delivered by SSG-appointed CET centres, courses that fulfil training requirements for Progressive Wage Model sectors, and Full qualification programmes delivered by Institutes of Higher Learning.

  • Expires on 31 Dec 2025

Absentee Payroll

 Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents

Singapore Citizens aged 30 and above (or Persons with Special Needs aged 13 and above), earning a monthly salary ≤$2,500 (Workfare Skills Support)

Courses offered by SSG-appointed CET Centres and SSG-supported certifiable courses

$4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year

95% of hourly basic salary, capped at $13 per hour

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs

The Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS) offers additional support for SMEs in the form of higher course fee subsidies. SMEs can receive SkillsFuture funding, of up to 90% of the course fees when they sponsor their employees to attend SSG supported courses

Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy

The SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy recognises that mid-career Singaporeans, aged 40 and above, may face greater challenges in undertaking training, and provides additional subsidies to encourage you to upskill and reskill to adapt to changing job requirements.

Post Secondary Education Account

The Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) is administered by MOE and is automatically available for all eligible Singaporeans.

PSEA can be used for the following types of courses:

  • Full qualification courses, skills-based modular courses, approved modular and short courses leading to certificates that are offered by the publicly-funded autonomous universities (AUs), polytechnics, and Institute of Technical Education (ITE);
  • Approved government-subsidised full qualification courses, modular courses, and short courses leading to certificates, that are conducted by Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and the LASALLE College of the Arts, public agencies, and private training providers;
  • Programmes in government-supported Special Education schools; and
  • Training courses for persons with disabilities under SG Enable.
