Course Objective

The Diploma in Business Management and Leadership aims to equip learners with the essential knowledge, skills, and leadership competencies to manage business operations and lead teams effectively amidst today’s competitive environment. The course blends management fundamentals with applied leadership, innovation, strategy, problem solving, and responsible decision-making to prepare learners for supervisory, managerial, and entrepreneurial roles in diverse industries.

Curriculum

Adminission Criteria

Age Requirement: At least 17 years old

Academic Requirement: At least 2 passes at GCE ‘A’ level; or Year 12 High School; or Existing Diploma from another local polytechnic or PEIs PP; or Educare Global Academy Foundation Course programme; or other foreign qualifications shall be assessed on a case by case basis.

English Language Requirement: Minimum of Band 5.0 IELTS; or Pass Educare Global Academy English Placement Test; or Letter from College/University clearly stating the Medium of Instruction of the highest qualification to be English; or C6 pass in English GCE ‘O’ level; or equivalent.

Course Fees

S$6,000 (inclusive of GST) payable in 3 instalments.

Course Completion Requirements

As per Ascendo’s policy, all learners are required to fulfil a minimum 75% attendance and attain a “Competent” status on the assessment to successfully complete the course.

Cancellation and Refund

In the event that Ascendo Academy cancels, reschedules, or changes the venue of the training, Ascendo Academy will, upon written demand, refund 100% of the price of the training course.

If Learner informs Ascendo Academy in writing more than fourteen (14) days in advance that he is seeking to cancel or reschedule a training course, Ascendo Academy will, upon written demand, refund 100% of the price of the training course.

If Learner informs Ascendo Academy in writing fourteen (14) days or less in advance that he is seeking to cancel or reschedule a training course, the Learner acknowledges that he is not entitled to any refund.

Ascendo Academy has the discretion, but not the obligation to allow the Learner to join a similar class or training session.

Ascendo Academy reserves the right to cancel, reschedule the course, amend course content if necessary.
